Could you be the full-time Testing and Commissioning Engineer (f/m/d) in Hennigsdorf we’re looking for?
Your future role
2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You’ll report to Testing and commisioning leader and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look for you to:
- Perform testing and commissioning of electrical motors and gearboxes to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications
- Conduct functional tests, load tests, and performance evaluations to verify the proper operation of motors and gearboxes
- Develop Testing & Commissioning procedures for his sub-system based on defined specifications for subsystems in area of specialization to meet contractual requirements
- Interface with Engineering and Verification & Validation subsystem leaders for optimizing site tests and sharing competent resources between platform and site test
- Could participate to Verification & Validation test in lab, as per request, under the responsibility of the Verification & Validation Manager
- Report on the anomalies arising during site testing and interfaces with engineering team towards to close the anomaly

- Degree in or passion for engineering (preferably electronics or embedded systems) or equivalent and experience in Testing & Commissioning or Verification & Validation activities
- Good knowledge of English and German (read, written, spoken)
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for data analysis and automation in testing processes
- Flexibility and mobility, available for seldom short missions in different locations
- An outside-the-box approach to testing
- Resilience, with an analytic way of thinking in order to solve complex system failures
