We are currently looking to recruit a Safety & Reliability Engineer (f/m/d) for our RAMS team located in Hennigsdorf, Germany

 

Are you interested in joining a highly motivated and skilled team of engineers to support the development of a new state of the art train fulfilling challenging safety and reliability requirements?

In this role you will perform safety and reliability analyses and produce related deliverables for the train project/program you are appointed to. You define the safety and reliability requirements allowing to reach an acceptable level of risk as per the Alstom Transport Safety policy.

 

Responsibilities

  • Performing the safety and reliability analyses (Hazard Analysis, FMECA, FTA) as per the applicable instructions/processes
  • Contributing to the identification of the necessary safety and reliability requirements to ensure the achievement of the safety and reliability targets
  • Supporting the engineering team (architecture, hardware, software) in the implementation of the safety and reliability requirements
  • Addressing Customer/Independent parties (ISA, NoBo, DeBo, AsBo) comments to get its approval on the Safety deliverables
  • Contributing to the assessment of the safety and reliability performance of the product (Safety Case)
  • Support of quotation activities

 

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering (e.g. electronic, electric, automation) or equivalent
  • Experience with safety and reliability analysis and demonstration methods (FME(C)A, FTA…) and tools and Electrical and/or Electro-mechanical Engineering
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Structured and organised way of working with hands-on approach
  • Fluent in English and German
