The Operations Excellence Lean Specialist / Black belt is in charge of supporting the Continuous Improvement team through the set-up and monitoring of performance management tools and animation of Performance Management network in Operations and other métiers. In addition, he/she provides relevant analyses to support various initiatives of CI.

 

 

Main Responsibilities are:

 

  • Diagnose business "break through" improvement opportunities at site
  • Value capture improvements, converted to financial results
  • Manage and facilitate improvement projects to successful conclusion at site
  • Train, Teach, coach Green Belt candidates to deliver high value projects to certification level
  • Provide ‘on site’ practical Lean Manufacturing application support, with a ‘Teach-Do’ approach
  • Conduct Production / Performance System assessments
  • Define and deploy improvement plans at a manufacturing site level
  • Facilitate key Kaizen-3P events to successful conclusion

 

 

Main required Competences:

 

 

 Educational Requirements:

 

  • University degree in engineering or operations management or related field; or experienced Expert in his métier (management committee members, manager, Project manager…)
  • Certified Master Black Belt or Black Belt - Master lean principles (5S, Standard, Gemba, VSM, problem solving, performance and kaizen mindset)
  • German and English language     

 

 

Experience:

 

  • Experience in training, teaching, and coaching Lean Six Sigma / Agile / Lean principles
  • Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills
  • Experience in operational activities and results driven
