Could you be the full-time Project Planning Manager in Hennigsdorf (north-west of Berlin, just across the city border) we’re looking for? 


Your future role
2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You’ll report to Matthias MUELLER - Site Project Planning Manager, and work alongside motivated, international and professional teammates.


Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with the Project Manager and other Project Planning Managers, providing essential time management information that supports decision making and achieves expected project performance, whether it be in tender, contract, or program execution. You’ll specifically be responsible for developing and maintaining the project schedule (internal) for your area, but also manage efficiently planning deliverable issuance.


We’ll look to you for: 

  • Highlight the critical path and risks linked to the project schedule and propose optimization and mitigation actions
  • Define the Project Time Management Plan
  • Ensure the consistency of all the internal and external stakeholders commitments, and manage the schedules interfaces
  • Perform schedule analysis and trade-offs to close identified gaps or schedule issues
  • Organize and lead periodic project schedule sessions for your area
  • Focus on early identification of potential delays (critical paths) including the status on risks and margin related to schedule
  • Prepare schedule and progress reports

  • Project management and industrial background
  • Knowledge of different scheduling tools
  • Basic overall knowledge of railway products, and good knowledge of the Sub-System
  • Rigorous, structured and sense of anticipation
  • German skills preferred at intermediate level, English fluent
  • Good Communications and interpersonal skills
  • Conflict management and multi-tasking
  • Collaborative management
