Could you be the full-time Project Chief of Operations (f/m/d) in Hennigsdorf we’re looking for? 

 

Your Future Role 

2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You’ll report to Site Plant Director and the Project Director and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team. 

 

We’ll look for you to: 

  • Lead and coordinate project operation activities and stakeholders from tender transfer to close-out

  • Manage activities related to industrial operations (industrialization & production line set-up, transfer of technology, supply chain, manufacturing, test and commissioning of the complete system) and ensure alignment with project objectives
  • Liaising with the Project director for QCD arbitration when needed
  • Develop the Project Industrial Management Plan (IMP) including the Project Industrial Organization (PIO), Make or Buy strategy, industrial planning & reviews, list of deliverables, ToT management plan

  • Support the delivery of the first trains of series

 

All About You

  • Engineering or master’s degree level education, preferably in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical or supply chain disciplines

  • At least 7 to 10 years of experience in industrial operations including 3 years at project or site management level

  • Strong leadership and ability to federate teams on technical orientations to reach QCD targets 

  • Demonstrated capacity to lead cross-functional activities and numerous/various stakeholders
  • Ability for analysis, problem-solving and efficient decision-making in complex environment
