Could you be the full-time PME Manager (Industrialization) (f/m/d) in Hennigsdorf we’re looking for?

 

Your Future Role

 

2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You’ll report to Pierre Lutz and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

 

We’ll look for you to :

  • Define and update the functional procedures, working methods, and methods according to the guidelines established by the central PME team.

  • Ensure that the team is adequately staffed in accordance with the project company and projected workload.

  • Create an induction and training program for new employees.

  • Maintain your team's competency matrix and create an annual training plan.

  • Apply industrialization standards such as method time, EHS, ergonomics, and work instructions.

  • Utilize industrialization methods such as ICONE, P-FMEA, control plan, QRQC, and task sequencing.

  • Utilize IS tools such as PLM (DELMIA), ERP (GSI), and MES.

  • Improve the team’s maturity by using the APSYS roadmap.

  • Coordinate all special processes within the local team and also with central Paris.

Support Product/Project Industrialization by:

  • Track the progress of industrial results in coordination with the PIM team.

  • Support the team in executing industrialization activities (e.g., P-FMEA, internal FAI).

  • Ensure accurate calculation of method time, correct master data, and good quality.

  • Ensure high-quality results of work instructions, task sequencing, etc., and proper adherence to ergonomics and EHS rules.

  • Manage specific processes within industrialization activities.

 

Support Production by:

  • Identify any needs for specific methodological support, support the production of the first articles, and organize and manage productivity measurements.

  • Track budget consumption for the relevant area and create and justify budget adjustments.

  • Create and transfer default values (allocated time) for production.

  • Carry out process studies and time recording and use methodological specifications (FMEA, planned times).

  • Support order calculation, pricing, and capacity planning in the BID.

Manage cost by:

  • Tracking budget consumption for the area.

  • Experience in the areas of process engineering, creation of work instructions for production, line balancing, lean manufacturing.
