Your Future Role
2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Christine Hörr and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in supporting other engineers in a global community. You’ll report to the Processes and Tools Domain Lead in Hennigsdorf. You'll support our engineers and leaders, positively impacting how our trains are designed and operated. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (particularly the engineering, development and project teams), sharing best practices, feedback and much more about engineering process knowledge.
You’ll specifically take care of the system’s performances, but also customers satisfaction.
We’ll look for you to :
- Acting as the CAD Keyuser for the RSC Engineering Metiers (System, Control, Design, Electrical, Validation, RAMS) and the related communities,
- Supporting the end user in using CATIA, the CATIA database as well as the PLM/PDM engineering tool to store product relevant information,
- Collecting business needs from the site and bring them to discussion on a global level,
- Defining and deploying guidelines, way of workings and new tool releases with the central Methods and Tools metier,
- Organizing and providing training to the RSC Engineering community for CATIA and the PLM/PDM tools,
- Being the site representative for the central Methods and Tools metier towards the site RSC Engineering organization.

- Passion in sustainable mobility solutions and complex products,
- Experience in the use of engineering CAD and PDM/PLM software,
- On-the-job experience as key-user preferred,
- Basic knowledge in database structures and functions,
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft tools, SharePoint and Customer documentation,
- Clear technical skillset, an analytical mindset and strong detail-oriented focus,
- As a trainer, you must bring desire to inspire people, create positive impact and share technical expertise,
- Communication skills, especially with various international teams and stakeholders,
- Fluent English and at least upper-intermediate German language skills.
