Could you be the full time Sub System Engineer for Electromechanical Systems (f/m/d) in Hennigsdorf we’re looking for?

 

Your Future Role

2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Christian Freitag and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

 

We’ll look for you to :

Manage the mechanical integration activities of the project (specifications thanks to SAMs, 3D detailed design, 2D drawings, weight status) in compliance with QCD commitments by applying Mechanical Métier instructions, processes & tools and manufacturability capability. As well as supporting verification and validation activities

 

- Performing and maintaining SAM (Space Allocation Mock up) in accordance with progressive maturity rules considering all constraints

- Creating annotated SAM for exchanges with suppliers

- Checking compliancy of supplier feedback with relevant SAM

- Performing 3D detailed design of home made parts considering

- Performing 2D or annotated 3D detailed design of home made parts considering internal rules of data structuration

- Performing assembly drawings by generating BOM for industrialization

- Planning and piloting mechanical integration activities and related deliverables on project considering applicable instructions/processes and other specific Customer (internal or external) requirements

- Managing production of mechanical integration deliverables in accordance with planning targets and TD Métier rules

- Preparing and documenting mechanical integration Design Reviews (DRCL) according to project schedule and following-up main open actions

- Escalating technical issues to SSM (incl mitigation plan)

- Day to day animation with relevant stakeholders of work package compliancy within SAM progressive maturity

- Validating relevant mechanical integration deliverables (full batch of 2D and 3D related to mechanical integration scope), and derivating validated elements to stakeholders

- Stack up calculations for their scope

Support Sourcing, Industrialization and Manufacturing teams during Production ramp-up

- Collaboration with Mechanical Domain Leader for continuous improvement of the Domain

  • Graduated from Mechanical Engineering school with Master of Science degree
  • Mechanical Engineering applied to Railway products with 5 years of experience
  • English operational in read/writing and technical meetings
