  • Follow the international and European Standards and regulations (e.g. interoperability directive, technical specifications for interoperability) regarding to the 4. railway package and the relevant notified national rules. Support in Training and serve guidance to the different projects.
  • To build the certification files according to legal rules and related to safety and cost.
  • Elaborate the certification evidence and documents with the help of other departments and certification Engineers.
  • Check the consistency and the relevance of these design and verification evidence.
  • Check and guide the certification process Identification of requirements for Authorisation and support the requirements management in the Design Assurance process.
  • Establish and anchor a general cost overview sheet
  • Develop a general Documentation Delivery Plan to use for all projects (continuous update)
  • Guide for Assessors, Bodies, Customer, National and European Authority.
  • Drive the NoBo and DeBo selection process
  • To support the individual team from BID phase to end of Warranty.
  • Identify, allocate and guide for the requirement management process for authorization requirements.
  • To define & manage the roadmap for optimizing with a focus on standardization and modular model.
  • Create a good and powerful relationship with Assessors and Bodies (NoBo, DeBo, AsBo)
  • Develop scripts and select tools for the complete certification team.
  • Handling, Skills and maintenance of data base.
  • To rationalize company organization model for Certification by streamlining Roles & Responsibilities between the Regions / Sites.
  • Regular communication with key project players (customers, project management, Doc Managers, assessment of change requests, drafting of required technical documents
  • Close cooperation with your colleagues in Project Office Documentation.



  • Academic background: Bachelor or Master of science, Product Development Management, Requirements Management or related
  • Matrix management functional guidance 
  • Negotiating skills with flexibility to adapt to multicultural ways of working, planning knowledge.
  • Structured Way of Working (Process Orientation, Ability to diagnose complex situations/organizations) with continuous improvement.
  • Good Communications, reporting and interpersonal skills, excellent team worker.
  • Ability to challenge product team.
  • Technical knowledge of Rolling Stock and/or Transportation systems operation principles
  • Good understanding in Authorization & Requirement & Homologation management.
  • Management and leadership of teams without disciplinary responsibility.
  • Read and understand complex documents as TSI, Legal texts
  • Able to explain the authorisation requirements range and support the different teams
  • Data base skills, Office 365, PDM, SAP, Primavera, Outlook
