We are currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Documentation and Training Engineer (m/f/d) in Hennigsdorf, Germany

 

Your role:

  • The Maintenance Documentation and Training Engineer is responsible for coordinating the creation and delivery of the vehicle maintenance documentation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and pilot the activities for the creation of the maintenance documentation in line with project and customer requirements (maintenance manual, maintenance procedures, operating manuals, illustrated spare parts catalogue, troubleshooting manual)
  • Coordinate input data necessary for the creation of the maintenance documentation including sub-supplier input
  • Manage internal and external subcontracting to technical writers
  • Ensure information exchange with other engineering functions (design, RAMS, LCC)
  • Manage internal/external customer feedback
  • Manage maintenance documentation workload and budgets and optimize
  • Ensure a high level of standardisation of technical content to optimize re-use
  • Ensure that Maintenance Documentation is published using Alstom standard Method & Tools (Electronic Catalogue)
  • Support, implement and manage projects and innovation processes in terms of maintenance documentation.
  • Organize customer trainings (including planning, coordination of training material preparation, and logistic organisation) in line with customer requirements
  • Manage training evaluation and capitalize Return of Experience

 

Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree and/or qualification as a technical writer
  • Experience in the railway industry, especially railway vehicle maintenance
  • Experience in Technical Publishing
  • Sense for coordination
  • Planning skills
  • Strong communication skills and team player
  • Business fluent in English and German is a must
  • French language is an advantage
  • Readiness to travel
  • SAP, XML/HTML knowledge - desirable
