Could you be the full time Industrial Quality Engineer (f/m/d) in Hennigsdorf we’re looking for?
Your Future Role:
2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our Quality organisation play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites to deliver the right product to customer. You’ll report to Ste Quality Industrial Manager.
We’ll look for you to:
Represents Quality in the project team, driving for customer satisfaction through the project’s Safety, Quality assurance by coordinating all quality and safety activities starting at tender stage and throughout the project until contract closure (SQCDP).
Your main tasks will be:
- Ensure Product Quality compliance according to Customer & Internal specifications
- Deploy Industrial Quality Standards per manufacturing process during manufacturing
- To support External Demerit at ZERO for Customer and improve IQ Performance with DpU (Defect per Unit), especially for Special Processes
- Manage IQ activities in relevant workshop: People, Process & Performance
- Perform DpU / External Demerit analysis to lead efficient Line Quality Animation with industrial cross function team
- Support the decision for all Hand Overs (GO / NOGO) & keeps NO GO Veto Right in any case
- Stop the production if needed for mandatory reason (e.g. Safety impact needed rework)
- Participate to Criticality Matrix analysis & contribute to Process FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect & Analysis)
- Lead FAR & Participate to FMR / SMR
- Implement & Regularly update of Quality Control Plans during Pre & Serial manufacturing activities
- Ensure availability of Car History Book & Compliance of the manufactured products before shipping

- Graduated from Engineering school with Master of Science degree
- English operational in read/writing and technical meetings
- German is highly recommended due to interaction with operators in the workshops
- Good Communications and interpersonal skills including with third parties

- Structured and organised with Hands-on approach
