Could you be the full-time Production Controller / Planner (24 months position) in Hennigsdorf we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your planning expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Michal Mitura, Site Industrial Director, and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.

 

You'll schedule and control the daily operations on the production line, so that they are manufactured on time in accordance with the Master Production Schedule. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, like Manufacturing and testing Department, Logistic, Supply chain or Quality to allow the manufacturing team to produce as per the plan. This is a key support function for manufacturing.

You’ll specifically take care of launching, coordinating and controlling the progress of work orders according to the Manufacturing planning & scheduling, but also checking plan orders readiness to ensure work orders can be launch on time and analyse exception messages of the Material Requirements Planning.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensure a continuous flow of materials to production line
  • Convert Planned Orders (MPS) into Work Orders and launch them on time in production and service
  • Manage the information workflow of work orders: job release, material consumption
  • Investigate and correct missing materials on the production line as a continues improvement
  • Ensure that priorities as planned in the MPS are clearly displayed and updated at shop floor level (visual management)
  • Contribute to data accuracy check related to Bill Of Material/Routings in collaboration with Industrialization
  • Alert the planning team/supply chain manager about issues impacting plan execution (missing parts, quality issues, production stoppage, technical data)
  • Contribute to minimize the product throughput time and maintain optimum Working In Progress

  • Degree or passion in industrial engineering & processes, logistics, supply chain management
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Experience or understanding of production scheduling/sequencing or operational supply chain with relevant usage of ERP (ideally SAP) in a manufacturing environment
  • Good knowledge of Material requirements planning, Production Scheduling tools and Power BI
  • Good level of data analysis and reporting
  • Basics on lean tools
