  • Condition monitoring of components, systems and trains is one of the most important technologies to increase vehicle safety, reduce maintenance costs and improve the reliability and availability (RAMS) of Alstom's vehicle fleets.  





  • As Control Room Engineer, you are supervising a complete fleet of vehicles using the fleet monitoring system in place
  • Good communication and teamwork with the fleet operation and maintenance team
  • Collect and share lesson learned with the Alstom Group fleet monitoring community
  • Provide KPI and reports to stakeholders with accurate fleet status
  • Continuous improvement of the alarms and algorithms in place
  • Coordination and PM roles for new fleet monitoring projects



  • University education in the field of engineering, computer science, or comparable degree 
  • Experience in industry: automotive, aviation, railway or automation 
  • Experience in functional vehicle system technology and / or experience in train / vehicle control and communication system  
  • Software background desirable 
  • Demonstrated skills to influence, negotiate, and build effective relationships between departments and organizations 
  • Programming experience (Phyton,VBA, etc.) and modeling skills are a strong plus. 
  • Fluent in English & German in spoken and written
