Could you be the Application Design Engineer in Helsinki we’re looking for?

 

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to the Program Manager Mareesha Goswami, and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.

You'll play an important part in the ATS Generic Product team to help design, implement and test ATS site data. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, and all over the world.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Design, implement and test ATS site data
  • Prepare estimates to complete work tasks
  • Oversee technical deliverables to ensure schedule and quality of work are maintained
  • Facilitate ongoing communication between the team, team leader and other teams
  • Coordinate with sub system(s) for troubleshooting and bug fixing

 

 

All about you

  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering and Computer Sciences.
  • Proficient in C++ and Python along with Experience with Linux, Windows Operating Systems
  • Design & development of Web APIs and RESTful APIs, Windows Services, communication protocol/ methodology. Client-server architecture, service-oriented architecture (SOA), knowledge & application of design patterns and best practices in the software development. 
  • Database Skills: Solid understanding of relational database concepts and experience with SQL Server or other RDBM. 
  • DevOps and Tools: Experience with DevOps practices & tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Knowledge of authentication & authorization mechanism and implementing security best practices in application development & encryption to safeguard the data. 
  • Fluency in English
  • Teamwork skills and openness to work in an international environment.
  • Logical and hands-on approach
