Alstom is looking for a

Maintenance Technical Support Engineer

to be based in Helsingborg

 

 

Your Future Role:

As a Services Engineer, you will play a crucial role in evolving our maintenance strategies to enhance the reliability and performance of our systems. You will work closely with diverse teams across the business (Operations, Sourcing, Industrial), optimizing maintenance plans, and much more.

 

You will work closely with internal teams across Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Industrial, and Quality as well as external suppliers and clients, ensuring best-in-class maintenance solutions.

This role is based in Alstom’s Depot in Helsingborg within a stationary team of three engineers and a Services Engineering Manager, with occasional travel.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Active participation in the Services Engineering network
  • Optimization of the scope and tasks related to the Maintenance plan
  • Analysis of data from Operations to inform experience-based improvements
  • Support in developing work instructions and processes from maintenance plans and manuals
  • Efficient parts codification in accordance with Platform rules and quality standards
  • Innovation through R&D programs and new technologies in maintenance projects

 

About You:

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Experience or understanding of maintenance operations in the rail or similar industry
  • Knowledge of reliability-cantered maintenance (RCM) and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with technical documentation management and maintenance planning
  • Knowledge in project management or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and optimize maintenance processes
  • Proactive approach to safety and obsolescence management
  • Fluency in English and Swedish is mandatory
