Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and systems-thinking expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic, collaborative, and solution-oriented teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of key project components and subsystems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business (e.g., engineering, procurement, and project management), manage technical interfaces with stakeholders, and oversee the implementation of Alstom-wide solutions and standards.
You’ll specifically take care of planning and conducting design reviews, as well as validation and verification processes, but also coordinate technical discussions with customers and internal teams to ensure alignment and success.
We’ll look for you to:
• Implement Alstom’s generic solutions and standards within the scope of your subsystem responsibilities
• Provide technical leadership and support to involved teams
• Actively participate in technical discussions with customers
• Ensure adherence to internal design and development processes
• Oversee technical project and milestone planning
• Ensure consistent and complete technical documentation
• Coordinate and managing interfaces with internal subsystems, external partners, suppliers, and stakeholders
• Ensure technical coherence, quality, and timely delivery within your scope
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
• Degree in engineering, project management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in project management, ideally in the field of signalling systems
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in both German and English
• Knowledge of design and development processes
• Familiarity with managing cross-functional teams
• A solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize and resolve conflicting objectives
• Willingness to travel as required
