Purpose of the job
- Responsible to develop and maintain the project schedule in order to manage efficiently the time commitments of the project (tender, contract or program).

- Functional: Site Planning Director, Site Projects Director, Projects Planning leader or Planning Resource Manager

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
- Review and validate all time related submission by the consortium to the customer in accordance with the consortium's procedures, contractual requirements, and stakeholder inputs, while applying personal judgment and experience.
- Lead optimization of schedules considering multiple criteria such as on-time delivery, cash generation, penalty avoidance, and efficient utilization of available resources for all stakeholders
- Validate the partner's input schedules and ensure external validation of the combined baseline schedule.
- Create a Project Time Management Plan and validate time-related documentation.
- Lead regular project schedule review sessions, challenging stakeholders' assumptions about time performance and seeking solutions.
- Align the commitments of internal and external stakeholders, manage schedule interfaces, identify trade-offs, and proactively influence stakeholders to adopt approaches beneficial for the overall project.
- Ensure timely updates of both monthly schedules while monitoring stakeholders' adherence to schedule quality standards.
- Identify critical paths and both actual and potential delays.
- Guide the project team in identifying and mitigating risks and in seizing opportunities related to on-time delivery.
- Lead the preparation of schedule and progress reports, illustrating progress with relevant.
- Advise the Contract Manager in time-related disputes, perform delay analysis, and evaluate incoming delay-related claims.
- Promote the time management practices and culture in the project team
- Educate project teams on schedule-related issues.
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES
Performance measurement
- Timely updates of schedule and time related KPIs
- Timely development of schedule related documents
- Maintain the schedule in line with defined quality metrics
- A certified Civil Engineer or Industrial Engineer or equivalent.
Competencies & Skills
- Advanced understanding of scheduling theory and methods, such as EVM.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and working knowledge of an additional scheduling software tool (MS Project, TILOS).
- Advanced capabilities in MS Excel or other data analysis tools.
- Working knowledge of time-related contractual practices and delay analysis methods.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; a proven leader of technical teams.
- Adaptability in a multi-cultural and rapidly changing environment.
- Fluent in both English and Hebrew read, write and speak
- Location: Israel.
Experience
- 10 year's experience in full time planning and scheduling role in construction industry
- 10 years of relevant Scheduling experience.
- 10 years of working experience in multi discipline Schedule management on transportation projects.
