Purpose of the role
On the NofIT LRT Line Project and in accordance with the Interface Management Plan, the mission of the Depots Interface Engineer is to manage the interfaces related to depot between the different Railway Systems as well as with the Security Systems and third parties systems, and to ensure all Systems requirements are exported to the interfacing party in a timely manner.
In addition to the responsibilities defined above, his specific responsibilities include the follow up and active tracking of the resolution of the interfaces in the design, by either parties.
Organisational Reporting
The Depot Interface Engineer is part of the HN LRL Railway Systems team. The Depot Interface Engineer reports to the Railway Systems Interface Manager.
Network & Links
The EPC Interface Manager, the EPC Integration Manager, the CSD/BIM Manager, the Depot Integration Leader, the Railway Systems and Security Systems Design Managers.
Measurement

Definition, development and follow-up of Interface Control Documents in a timely manner and in accordance with the Project’s planning,
-
Coordination with the delivery Design teams;

Coordination with the Combined Services Drawings (CSD) and BIM teams
-
Reporting of progress and issues,

Understanding of the different disciplines’ constraints,

Understanding of configuration management
Responsibilities
-
To define the Interface Control Documents (ICDs) related to Depot between Systems as identified in the Interface Matrix,
-
To ensure Depot interfaces are resolved in a timely manner, avoiding any delays to the construction schedule;

To develop the ICDs related to Depot until interface resolution state as defined in the applicable Interface Management Plan,

Follow and co-ordinate the modifications related to Depot to be carried out by the Railway Systems disciplines,

To support the decision making for integrated design in the Depots, as appropriate;

Ensure the feasibility and the parties responsibility for the modification of their work,

Support the construction and testing and commissioning managers for the interfaces topics in relation with their delivery.
Educational Requirements
- A Bachelor degree in Electrical, Electronics or Industrial Engineering.
Technical Knowledge / Experience
- Knowledge of railway systems, operating requirements,
- Preferably 3 years’ experience Rail Transit systems Projects and/or in management of systems interfacels.
Behavioural / Technical Competencies
- Good working relationship and ability to negotiate with the subsystems,
- Team spirit,
- Organisation skills and good management of priorities, Target and delay respect,
- Dynamical / Excellent Communications / Organisations
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel).
- The work will be carried out from the site in Haifa
