Purpose of the role
- Be the guardian of the “As Sold” Baseline, manages the configuration items from the “As Required” & “As Specified” baselines regarding Requirements and configuration Management
- Ensure that the management of tender and project requirements is performed as per the global Requirements Management (RM) process and methodology, thus the delivered product meets the contractual and other stakeholders requirements
- Provide the necessary support and trainings to project teams regarding RM/configuration process, methodology and tools (DOORS) to perform activities requested by the process
- Monitors and reports on the status of RM activities, manages the RM database and helps engineers and other scope owners in their RM activities
- Support the delivery teams Gate Reviews for the Requirement and Configuration matters.
- Establishing and maintaining project document baselines (requirements, design deliverables, configuration items), ensuring traceability and version control
- Tracking and analyzing KPIs related to requirements, configuration, and change management processes
- Follow deployment of the requirement/configuration/change management plan and process
- Support Configuration and Requirement manager
The role operates in accordance with Client requirements and consortium strategy, while ensuring controlled and structured management of incoming project data
Organisational Reporting
Reports directly to
the Configuration and Requirement Manager.
The Configuration and Requirement Engineer is part of the HN EPC team

Main Responsibilities
- Implements Requirement Management global processes on tender, execution contract and product development projects for technical & non-technical requirements
- Acts as the guardian of the integrity of the Contracts
- Drives the engineers in their requirements development activities
- Verifies the data quality & consistency in the RM database
- Creation of KPIs related to requirements, configuration status, and change management
- Establish and maintain the project baseline, ensuring version control and full traceability
- Monitor and report deviations from baselines
- Develop, improve, and validate data tracking and reporting tools
- Support data quality, integrity, and accessibility across stakeholders
Performance Measurement
- Effectiveness and reliability of configuration and requirements trackers
- KPI tracking and reporting quality (clarity, consistency, and relevance)
- Contribution to continuous improvement of data management processes and tools
- Level of traceability and control of project baselines
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
A degree within an engineering discipline or relevant experience
Experience
Mandatory:
- Practical experience of working on projects at various stages in a project lifecycle
- Good communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, PivotTables, macros)
- Working in teams across multiple sites and cultures.
- knowledge of programming or scripting
Competencies & Skills
- English fluent spoken
- Dynamism and will to learn
- Experience utilizing database solutions for requirements management (e.g. DOORS)
- Systems Engineering/Integration conceptual knowledge
- Excellent knowledge in EXCEL and word software
