Civil Works Interface Engineer EN-SY-03
Purpose of the role
On the NofIT LRT Line Project and in accordance with the Interface Management Plan, the mission of the Civil Works Interface Engineer is to manage the interfaces between the Railway System and the Civil Works and to ensure all Railway Systems requirements are exported to the Civil Works in a timely manner.
In addition to the responsibilities defined above, his specific responsibilities include participating and monitoring the production of Combined Service Drawings and BIM.
Organisational Reporting
The Civil Works Interface Engineer is part of the HN LRL Railway Systems team. The Civil Works Interface Engineer reports to the Railway Systems Interface Manager.
Network & Links
The EPC Interface Manager, the CSD/BIM Manager, the Depot Integration Leader, the Track Alignment team, the Railway Systems and Civils Design Managers.
Measurement
- Definition, development and follow-up of Interface Control
- Documents in a timely manner and in accordance with the Project’s planning,
- Coordination with the delivery Design teams;
- Coordination with the Combined Services Drawings (CSD) and BIM teams
- Reporting of progress and issues,
- Understanding of the different disciplines’ constraints,
- Understanding of configuration management.
Responsibilities

To define the Interface Control Documents (ICDs) between Railway Systems and Civil Works disciplines as identified in the Interface Matrix,

To develop the ICDs until interface resolution state as defined in the applicable Interface Management Plan,

Follow and co-ordinate the civil engineer’s modifications to be carried out by the Railway Systems disciplines,

Ensure the feasibility and the Civil Works segment’s responsibility for the modification of their work,

Coordinate the integration with Civil Works along the strip via the Combined Services Drawings,
-
Coordinate the integration with Civil Works in Buildings via the 3D representations/BIM process,

Support the construction manager for the review of the Civil Works delivery.
Educational Requirements
- The Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
Technical Knowledge / Experience
- 3 years’ experience on managing interface between Civils and Railway Systems on a Project, preferably on Light Rail Transit systems Projects..
Behavioural / Technical Competencies
- Good working relationship and ability to negotiate with the subsystems,
- Team spirit,
- Organisation skills and good management of priorities, Target and delay respect,
- Dynamical / Excellent Communications / Organisations
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Good Knowledge of the software AutoCAD by Autodesk, preferable Revit, Navisworks and Bentley in 2D and 3D
- The work will be carried out from the site in Haifa
