Could you be the full-time onsite Crash simulation Engineer in Haguenau, FR we’re looking for?
Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your seasoned crash simulation and design expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and dedicated teammates. You'll contribute significantly to the safety and reliability of our rolling stocks by designing and validating them for crashworthiness and occupants’ safety. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Design), building the numerical models of the rolling stock to ensure the highest level of safety, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:

Building the numerical models of the rolling stock, ensuring the required level of quality,
-
Performing the simulations of the collision scenarios, analyzing the results and proposing design improvements on crash devices and supporting structures,

Performing the calibration of the numerical models from tests,
-
Producing detailed and comprehensive crash simulation reports,
-
Presenting and reporting the progress in terms of design and validation including the simulation results to the Crash Solutions manager,
-
Contributing to the continuous improvement of simulation methodologies,
-
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of simulation results into broader project goals

Degree in Mechanical Engineering with significant experience in industry sector (>3 years)

Experience of passive safety in the railway or other transportation industries,

Knowledge of general mechanical and crash design principles,

Strong competencies in finite elements modeling (Knowledge of Hyperworks tools will be appreciated)

English operational proficiency,
-
Analytical mindset to interpret simulation data effectively,
-
Ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams,
-
Proven track record in problem-solving and design improvement,
-
Strong communication skills for presenting reports and progress,
-
Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced engineering environment
