Could you be the full-time Project ATC Leader in Gurugram we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your advanced system design and project management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll lead the ATC system design project, encompassing both trackside and train-borne design, ensuring the on-time delivery of ATC deliverables according to project planning and contract requirements. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, customer interface, and validation teams), coordinate with verification and validation activities, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of developing the ATC system architecture, defining and allocating requirements, and ensuring alignment with system roadmaps, but also managing customer technical interfaces and documentation approvals.
We’ll look to you for:
-
Delivering ATC sub-system solutions approved by the customer while respecting project QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments.
-
Providing ATC functional and architecture specifications, detailed design, and configuration corrections until customer acceptance.
-
Defining and assessing interfaces, including Sig-RS (signaling – rolling stock) specifications, until mutual agreement is achieved.
-
Contributing to the functional validation phase of the sub-system (I&V and FIVP).
-
Ensuring adherence to ATC ADDA processes for all domain/metier activities.
-
Supporting PrEM (Project Engineering Manager) in ensuring transparency of ATC Engineering WP QCD performance and initiating corrective actions as needed.
-
Participating in Risk and Savings Reviews and providing inputs to update the RAMP and SAMP of the project.
-
Managing communication with the customer and ensuring ATC documentation approvals.
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
-
8–12 years of experience in the rail signaling or automation domain.
-
Experience in ATC systems (trackside and/or trainborne) or similar complex real-time systems (e.g., avionics, defense), with a technical lead role.
-
System engineering knowledge (desirable: signaling systems).
-
Proven expertise in system specification and requirements development.
-
Strong skills in customer technical management and QCD management, with the ability to lead engineering teams transversally.
-
Team management experience.
-
Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
-
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with software engineering methods and tools to configure generic ATC software, knowledge of rolling stock systems (e.g., brakes, traction, doors), basic software development skills, and expert-level proficiency in Excel.
Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:
-
Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines.
-
Work with new security standards for rail signaling.
-
Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues.
-
Contribute to innovative projects.
-
Utilise our flexible and dynamic working environment.
-
Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries.
-
Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning opportunities.
-
Progress towards senior leadership or specialized technical roles.
-
Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognizes your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension).
