Job Title: Team Lead

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive daily continuous improvement and participate actively in APSYS workouts and events. 
  • Responsibility to drive Lean methodology across all functions including: EHS, Quality, Productivity,
  • Drive to ensure OTD and Utilization objectives
  • Create and drive Problem Solving / Issues and Opportunities for abnormalities
  • Create, audit, modify and follow Standard Work for the area
  • Interface with maintenance/staff to prioritize needs
  • Perform cross training and Lean training
  • Work with other leaders to assure your line is fully “staffed” every day
  • Work as an effective team member focused on meeting / exceeding business goals and creating a safe working environment & culture
  • Ability to lead team through example
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and direction to team members

 

 

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Proficiency with computers and basic knowledge of SAP, Windows, Word, and Excel
  • Well-respected by peers and leaders
