Could you be the full-time Supplier Quality Warranty Engineer we’re looking for ?

 

Your future role

As Supplier Quality Warranty Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the process of non-conformities. You will act as a link between Alstom’s Product introduction sites in Göteborg (Sävenäs and Slottsskogen), Sweden, the manufacturing sites in Hennigsdorf and Bautzen, Germany, and all our external suppliers. You will be working with the team in Göteborg and have a central role in ensuring that we can maintain the current X80 and M33 fleets in operation as well as expand with new trains. You will take ownership of the non-conformities process and maintain an overview of defect parts and supplier related quality issues while feedbacking this to relevant parties. In addition to that you will also be a part of ensuring that brand new delivered trains are up to Alstom’s quality standards when they are delivered to our customer. 

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Maintaining the non-conformities process Creating and monitor non-conformities against the manufacturing sites in Hennigsdorf, Bautzen and our external suppliers
  • Ensuring compliance in the non-conformity process by internal and external parts
  • Improving and adapting the non-conformity process for the X80 & M33 projects
  • Take part in quality related investigations
  • Working alongside the quality team to identify and solve quality issues on the trains

  • Master or Bachelor of Engineering degree
  • Fluent in English
  • A high level of computer literacy and proficincy in usage of Offce suite of tools
  • Swedish and/or German is a bonus but not required
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
