Could you be the full-time Site Industrial Director in Goerlitz, Germany we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your production management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Koep Jens (Site Managing Director) and work alongside passionate, motivated, and dedicated teammates.
You'll ensure industrial activities from bid to execution in Manufacturing. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business and manage Industrial workload on site, manage project industrial development activities.
We’ll look to you for:
- Technical and disciplinary management of the departments Industrial Planning, Production and Manufacturing engineering
- Personnel management and development of all employees within the area
- Assuming QCD responsibility for the Industrial division
- Planning and control of all processes and personnel planning in the area accordingly deadline and quality requirements
- Optimized resource and budget planning and compliance
- Workload management
- Ensuring on-time delivery (OTD)
- In the tendering phase: support of the PLISM (Platform Industrial Solution Manager) who is responsible for the development of the industrial strategy and the Consolidation of industrial calculation
- In the project phase: support of the PrIM (Project Industrial Manager), who is in charge of all industrial aspects of the project (industrial development, 1st train, serial production), with support of the key functions.
- Ensuring compliance with EHS regulations, Code of Ethics, Alstom Policies and drivers of continuous improvement (APSYS) of industry teams
- Partner of the SMD (Site Managing Director) in all questions of strategic alignment of the location
- Representation of the SMD
- Assumption of entrepreneurial duties / operator responsibility in the area
All about you

- Engineering or master’s degree level education, preferably in mechanical, electrical or supply chain disciplines.
- At least 7 to 10 years of experience in industrial operations including 3 years at project or site management level.
- Balanced skills between management, industrial management and project management
- Strong leadership and ability to federate teams on technical orientations to reach QCD targets
- Demonstrated capacity to lead cross-functional activities and numerous/various stakeholders
- Ability for analysis, problem-solving and efficient decision-making in complex environment
- Ability to work across sites in a multi-cultural environment
- German language at a fluent level is absolutely mandatory for this role
