Could you be the full-time Site Process, Manufacturing and Engineering Director (f/m/d), based in Görlitz we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to the Site Industrial Director in Görlitz and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.
You'll be the person to organize the co-engineering and industrial development of the site and to ensure product and process design are optimized for manufacturability. You will ensure the transferability of the industrial activities by using standard processes and drive industrialization resources in the tenders, development phase, pre-serial phase and serial production phase.
We’ll look to you for:
• Ensure, that the industrial assumptions (PIO, MoB, Macro-process) are defined in line with industrial Reflib and SMP/SML of the product range and the implementation of the standard processes and the standard product solutions: SMP/SML, standard equipment, standard solutions
• Ensure the manufacturability (and the transferability if relevant) using validated technologies
• Ensure co-engineering methodology and rules are followed-up to optimize lead time and quality of development
• Validate the quotation relative to the industrial costs
• Validate, for the industrial scope, the gate reviews of the DFQ, and that the conditions to pronounce the Serial Go are fulfilled
• Ensure documentation and ERP data are complete, on time and with the good level of quality
• Organize and ensure the implementation of manufacturing equipment on time, in line with EHS rules, with good ergonomic conditions, and compliant with the QCD targets of the project.
• Drive continuous improvement actions and support production
Management of Resources
• Manage the staff capacity and competencies
• Control the actual and forecasted workload
• Coordination of special process leads
• Manage the EHS requirements in the field of industrialization, and as management committee member
• Participate to the PME Networks
• Contribute to build or improve standards
• Ensure good participation of collaborators to the relevant networks
• Control of manufacturing hours and efficency
• Implementation of new techniques and chain automatisation
All about you
• Industrial background experience of 10 years preferably in the railway industry
• Ability to manage a team of engineers and technicians in technical fields
• Technical expreience of Process Engineering and Lean Manufacturing
• Working in ERP Systems – prefered SAP
• Working knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards and systems
• Team-player, conscientious, decisive
• Self motivated, logical and organized
• Excellent communications skills
• Very good English language knowledge
• Hands on mentality
