Could you be the full-time Project EHS Engineer/Technician in [LOCATION] we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your safety and environmental management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and proactive teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our people and contractors, while minimizing environmental impacts and protecting Alstom’s assets. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Manufacturing, Platform, and Finance), support the Project EHS Manager to perform risk assessments, and help implement and maintain emergency plans, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of developing and deploying project EHS management systems, but also ensuring compliance with Alstom standards and international regulations (e.g., ISO 14001 and ISO 45001).
We’ll look to you for:

Supporting the Project EHS Manager on EHS topics and objectives

Performing EHS Risk Assessments and defining appropriate control measures
-
Preparing, implementing, and maintaining emergency plans
-
Providing support and advice to project teams to prevent injuries and environmental impacts
-
Developing and maintaining local procedures and tools aligned with Alstom and international standards
-
Capturing, reporting, and analyzing incidents to implement corrective actions

University degree in Engineering or Business

Health & Safety Qualification recognized by local authorities

Experience or understanding of EHS management systems and frameworks (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001)

Knowledge of local legal EHS requirements

Familiarity with incident reporting and analysis

A degree-level Environmental Qualification (desirable)

Experience in railway projects (desirable)

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Analytical thinking and a proactive mindset

Good computer skills and familiarity with continuous improvement tools
