We're looking for a SITE FACILITIES MANAGER.

 

The Facilities Manager is responsible for:

  • Managing the maintenance and repairs of the designated Authority Facilities and nonrevenue vehicles and equipment
  • Maintains communication and knowledge through regular meetings with functional managers and project team to ensure the facility services meet the needs of the business units and capital projects
  • Provide contract negotiations input to Authority, communicates repair and or procurement capabilities
  • Oversees, manages, and reviews data for accuracy and efficiency as it relates to schedules, quality control, product specifications and other aspects of the services
  • Assist in delivering of annual goals, objectives, service improvements and budget plans
  • Support goals, objectives, plans and programs with all departmental managers, assisting in developing annual and multiyear service plans, and capital improvement programs. Assist with development of operational budgets, and contract compliance.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Organize, supply and maintain the office building, equipment and supplies acting as contact person for the Site:
  • Responsible for the Reception and Canteen (where present)
  • Support to HR concerning the maintenance of employee assets (e.g. Business Cards, IS peripherals, mobile phones, etc.)
  • Support to Communications for organizing Company events and promoting Corporate notices within the Site
  • Travel management and car rentals
  • Supporting logistic organization for Executive & HR seminars

 

Performance measurements:

  • Service delivery accuracy, robustness, timeliness
  • Efficiency of logistics management

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload

  • Good knowledge of English language
  • Building construction, subsystems, and industrial equipment
  • Basic financial knowledge

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science
  • 5+ years’ in a similar position
  • Proficiency in MS Office tool and knowledge of AutoCAD and ERP systems
  • Knowledge of procurement regulation, policies, and practices
  • Experience with other functional service organizations, i.e. purchasing and field procurement operation

 

Job location: Florence or Bologna

It is required availability to travel in other Italian Sites.
