Main mission

• Perform activities related to safety assurance are applied in development programs and specific application domain under (under the governance/guidance of the Project Safety Assurance Manager of Trainborne or Urban Safety Florence Team
   

Role responsibilities

• Perform Safety analysis (Hazard Analysis, FMECA, FTA), manage Hazard Log, review Design Hw and Sw (write in ADA and in C language),  Review RAM tasks and Testing activities from a Safety perspective             
• Build the Safety Case [that it is a document well-structured argument, supported by technical evidence (test, analysis) and quality procedure in order to justify that a system is acceptably safe for a specific application in a specific operating environment.)                                                                                                       
• Able to apply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the system or product

Desired Skills & Experience (profile)

• Educational Requirements : University Degree level in Electronics/Telecommunications/Software Engineering
• Experience : Safety Functional Concept for railway products  
• Required Knowledge & Technical Competencies
  • Able to understand safety function principles
  • Learn and apply CENELEC/IEC Standards for Functional Safety (EN5012x, IEC61508)
  • Able to understand HW electrical schemes with both discrete and integrated components
  • Able to read SW Source Code (main programming languages, e.g. C/C++/C#, Python, ADA) and understand SW safety architecture and design principles
  • Able to write and speak English
  • Able to learn Artificial intelligence for the specific application in railway enviromental

  • Aptitude to study, passion and willing to learn
  • Strong aptitude for soft skills especially for problem solving and work in team
  • Curiosity and willing to analyze the issue in analytical way
