In our Site of Florence, we're looking for a MECHANICS MANUFACTURING MANAGER.

 

Operational tasks and responsibilities:

  • Production Daily activities  Organization in compliance with the production plan defined by the head of the Manufacturing area, in line with the delivery needs of the projects, respecting the levels of quality, costs and timing defined at the company level.
  • Responsible for the health and safety of workers within their area.
  • Verify the application of production processes and reference technical specifications, defined by the relevant company functions (Quality, Product Engineering, Industrialization) and arranged by the head of the Manufacturing area.
  • Manage and develop the skills of his team.
  • Support product industrialization in term of return of experience concerning process , tools, allocated time and improvements.
  • Setting high standards to reach production goals, ensuring that higher quantities produced do not compromise quality. If defects are discovered in products, it's the Team Leader's responsibility to come up with solutions
  • Make sure that all product specifications and manufacturing procedures comply with regulations

 

Is it required knowledge of:

  • production processes related to electromechanical / hydraulic products or sytems assembly and testing.
  • mechanical & electrical assembly component and products.
  • reading a mechanical technical drawing and electrical scheme( assembly and component)
  • capapility to use dimensional measurement tools, crimping and torquening tools
  • machining ( lathe and mill traditional), line balancing and workstation layout definition, Lean manufacturing principles 
  • Knowledge of Windows Office package and SAP.

 

Skills and experience:

  • The candidate should have a previous experience in the same role ( at least 5 years) in structured companies, with strong mechanical background ( if related to railway signalling is a plus).
  • Being a leadership resource to team members, providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice
  • Constantly seek the QCD performance improvement proposing with his team
  • Encourage team effort and supportive attitudes between workers 
  • Spread best environmental and EHS practices in the team
  • Constantly working for meeting quality assurance standards as set by industry programs
