Your future role
The MMIS Performance Analyst collects, analyzes, documents asset management software-derived data and communicates the information both internally to local BT management and to the client, Crosslinx
Transit Solutions (CTS). The Performance Analyst conducts root-cause analysis, identifies process gaps and opportunities to achieve best practice, drafts recommendations for management including data visualizations, and promotes the achievement of asset management performance results. The Performance Analyst facilitates asset management plan development and interacts regularly with management to inform and build internal and external performance measurement reporting. The MMIS Performance Analyst will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the MMIS system. The main objectives of this role will be around 3 main pillars: MMIS data integrity, customer interface management, and training along with ongoing support for the end users of the MMIS.
You’ll specifically take care of
• Collects, analyzes, documents, and prepares internal and client reports on performance measures to evaluate how effectively BT O&M is meeting schedule maintenance targets, and asset management
goals and objectives.
• Analyzes KPIs not performing at the target to discover and document the root cause and applicable business processes impacted.
• Act as the Key User between ALSTOM and our Customers, in terms of MMIS and related customer interfaces.
• Support local business processes related to the MMIS, which are outside of the customer interfaces.
• Manage master data objects in the MMIS and continuously ensure data integrity.
• Be the subject matter expert (SME) of the MMIS, customer interfaces, and other related applications.
• Responsible for error monitoring and handling of MMIS and related customer interfaces.
• A strong understanding of the links between Alstom MMIS applications and their connection with the customer’s MMIS is imperative.
• Provide continuous training to Alstom end users for the MMIS and customer interfaces. Manage all documentation and training related to the MMIS and customer interfaces.
• Submit service requests on behalf of end users for MMIS account management.
• Incident management with escalation, as needed, to resolve MMIS issues that may arise.
• Manage system required planned and unplanned outages and prepare for degrade mode activities as needed when the MMIS is unavailable.
• Use business automation tools within and outside of the MMIS (i.e. WinShuttle) to facilitate uploads of larger data sets.
• Prepares and communicates performance analysis results and recommendations to management utilizing the appropriate mix of generated reports, tables, graphs, PowerPoint presentations, and
other techniques to support audience understanding.
• Conducts data quality checks to retain BT’s credibility and enable management to have accurate data to resolve maintenance operations problems, maximize service reliability, and minimize cost.
• Leads efforts to mitigate data quality risks by improving data collection processes.
• Communicates with management, employees, and the client to assist in the development and enhancement of performance measures and shares methods and results to create organizational learning.

Education
• College diploma in computer or data science, or a related field
Relevant experience required (i.e. directly linked to the requirements of the position/role)
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience involving MMIS applications, analytical problem solving, metric development, and data modeling.
• Expert skill level in SAP software applications, Experience with Microsoft Office software applications.
Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role
• Experience in the transit/transportation industry would be considered an asset

Compensation
The expected compensation for this role is $85,000 – $90,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
