Purpose of the job
Manage the controlling and financial reporting of projects in accordance with internal control rules and ensures project accounting is in accordance with Company guidelines and ensure consistency with project teams (Planning, Sourcing, …).
Key accountabilities
- Obtains all financial and accounting data related to the contracts allocated on a monthly basis
- Checks the accuracy of the data accounted for on the project (Invoices (customer or supplier), timesheets, travel expenses...)
- Checks and controls cost movements monthly, compares with “As Sold” Situation, Current as Sold” situation as well as with previous forecast.
- Presents all financial data in a transparent way.
- Prepares the estimate at completion to be validated during the Project Reviews.
- Follows up on receivables.
- Ensures reconciliation takes place between approved project financial data and books
- Analyze inventory movement & ensure its proper valuation
- Contribute to lean manufacturing & continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow-up production orders in the ERP ensuring accuracy of values during the industrial flow
- Collaborate with other functions (Procurement, Industrial, Supply Chain) to align financial and operational objectives
- Maintain scorecards reconciling financials with operational KPIs multi frequency basis
- Participate in hard inventory valuation, cycle count review, slow-moving provision and action plans to improve working capital
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and all relevant regulations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Analyze cost of non-quality and supplier Conq recovery follow up
Educational Requirements
Master’s in Business school, engineering school or university equivalent
Experience
- Graduated from university or with 3 years of experience
- Team working
- Excellent knowledge in MS Excel, and PowerBI wil be a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Fluent in other languages is a plus
