Bids & Project Portfolio Coordination
- Align portfolio with strategic goals while minimizing risk
- Ensure resource capacity and availability match portfolio needs
- Optimize portfolio value through proper balance
- Oversee tenders deliverables and commit on costing & resource allocation
- Monitor project execution via MPR & FPR with Customer Director
- Accountable for portfolio performance (PPI, OTD, DFQ, on-time tender delivery)
- Ensure QCD performance across projects, WPs and WBEs (multi-site environment)
- Report key risks and issues to Site Management
- Partner with Site MD to align priorities with profitability objectives
- Optimize resource utilization
- Act as or support customer interface when required
Bid & Project Team Management
- Staff, develop and assess team competencies
- Manage bid/project managers, sub-system managers and PM functions
- Balance workload across key project phases
Operational Support
- Track QCD, risks, cash, progress and milestones
- Ensure support from métiers for daily operations
- Support risk management and mitigation plans
- Drive continuous improvement actions in bids/projects
- Facilitate cross-site issue resolution when escalated
Processes
- Deploy Bid & Project processes on site (incl. PM2020)
- Ensure process governance (appoint or act as Process Correspondent)
- Capture and leverage Return of Experience (REX)
- Participate in audits
- Ensure knowledge sharing across bids and projects
Performance Measurement
- Tenders: contract conversion rate, staffing on time
- Projects: QCD performance, cash flow, working capital
- Customer: satisfaction, safety, issue management responsiveness
- Financial: risk mitigation, savings, budget commitments
- Management: team development, training, milestone achievement
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
- Business Management / Engineering Degree / Master’s Degree
Desirable:
- Project Management Certification (IPMA or PMI)
Experience
Mandatory:
- Knowledge of business and industrial environment.
- At least 10 years of experience in leading a project/s and/or bid/s management.
- Previous transversal and/or international assignment in leadership role.
