MISSION & RESPONSABILITIES : 

Develop a strategy to improve production and manufacturing processes in the factory.
Ensure the good quality of deliverables: WI, Task Sequencing, etc. during NPI-Serial Handover.
Study workflows and identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
Evaluate and Participate in the evaluation of production equipment and collaborate with the Process & Tools manager to recommend improvements and replacements if necessary.Lead projects to implement manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with other members of the production team to ensure the best productivity and quality.
Implement training for operators (Videos) to help improve production processes and guarantee product quality.
Provide regular information on production results and performance to SME Managers and Production Managers.
Define and update functional procedures, working methods and methodologies, according to the guideline defined by the central PME.
Deploy industrialization standards: Time Method, EHS, Ergonomics, Work Instructions.
Deploy industrialization methodologies: P-FMEA, Control Plan, QRQC, Task Sequencing.
In coordination with the Methods Coordinator (Serial Methods), monitor the progress of updating industrial deliverables in the case of small customer modifications and/or process changes/Improvements affecting deliverables.
Support the team when carrying out NPI industrialization activities (e.g.: P-FMEA, REX series).
Make sure the method time is calculated correctly.
Ensure that the basic data is accurate and of a good level of quality
Ensure that special processes are well managed within industrialization activities.
Organize and manage productivity actions.
Build an integration and training program for new arrivals.
Maintain the skills matrix of your team and build the annual training plan.
Increase team maturity using the APSYS roadmap.

 

Profil :

Master degree (Industrial / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering).
An experience whitin similaire position as Methods manager is manadatory, preferably in the railway industry.
Technical experience in Process Engineering, writing manufacturing work instructions, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing.
Experience working with an ERP (such as SAP) for BOM, routing and configuration tracking Working knowledge of quality, EHS standards and ergonomics.
Knowledge of CAD tools and Familiar with FMEA, QRQC tools.
Excellent level of communication in both French and English.
