Business Intelligence Analyst

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES  

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to structure the Data Management and the Reporting.
• Define reporting requirements and standards in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes and improve data visualization techniques.

Data Analysis and Insights:

• Conduct in-depth data analysis to extract insights and identify trends and patterns.
• Utilize statistical analysis, data modelling, and data visualization techniques to present findings.
• Translate complex data into meaningful and actionable insights for key stakeholders.

Report Development and Maintenance:

• Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to meet business requirements.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of reporting data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define report specifications and customize reporting solutions.

Data Governance and Quality:

• Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures for reporting data.
• Monitor and ensure the quality and integrity of reporting data.
• Implement data validation processes and perform data audits to identify and resolve data issues.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and requirements.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and deliver insights.
• Provide guidance on data interpretation and support decision-making processes.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in reporting and data analytics.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance reporting processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Exploring possibilities to utilise emerging new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) for improved reporting & data visualisation.

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements

• Initial Background: Business or Engineering school graduation with Supply Chain orientation  
• SAP/AOS knowledge in the assigned scope

Experience and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Expertise in creating and managing dashboards in tools like Power BI or QlikSense.
• Familiarity with AOS and GSI SAP systems, including extracting and integrating data into analytics platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and address AOS-related issues efficiently.
• Proficiency in VBA, Python, Artificial Intelligence (AI) or similar programming languages for data analysis and reporting.
• SAP Scripting knowledge to automate transactions
• Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting data insights and creating user-friendly dashboards.
