Could you be the full-time Bid and Costing Manager in Fez  we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in bid and cost management within a cutting-edge industry. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in preparing, leading, and managing all costing and pricing aspects of tenders, ensuring alignment with financial strategies and project goals. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Bid Managers, Finance Tender Managers, and subsystem stakeholders, to define cost structures, lead cost reduction initiatives, and ensure robust cost commitments.

You’ll specifically take care of tender cost estimations and project cost management, but also support cost consolidation and variation order management.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Preparing quick costing during the pre-tendering phase using product cost databases and project execution insights

  • Defining cost structures, target costs, and pricing strategies in collaboration with bid and subsystem managers

  • Leading cost estimation activities and cost improvement initiatives to enhance competitiveness

  • Collaborating with Finance Tender Managers to optimize financial costs and overall bid competitiveness

  • Ensuring the accuracy and robustness of costing, including variance analysis and risk assessments

  • Supporting project teams on costing aspects, including variation orders and cost reduction initiatives

  • Coordinating costing analysis during design phases and contributing to make-or-buy evaluations

  • Monitoring cost savings and providing variance analysis on project costs

  • Engineering degree, Business School degree, or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the industry

  • Ability to recognize product and associated costs and understand operational flows (engineering, manufacturing, industrial, etc.)

  • Experience in value analysis, product cost, and cost models

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to challenge contributor commitments

  • Awareness of financial rules and contractual aspects (e.g., bonds, guarantees)

  • Fluent in English

  • Results-driven with curiosity for the product and its environment

  • Strong communication and networking skills

  • Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment

  • Proactive, transparent, and able to deliver on time
