PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The function Key User (KU) is the site or multi-site process expert of his/her functional stream(s). He/she enables efficient and effective digital operations through our systems, processes, data, and tools, with expert operations responsibilities for the assigned site(s) and stream(s). KU ensures that the core model Information Solution is well used at plant level, according to processes & rules issued by the metier. He/she acts as the entry point for Region Business Process Experts (RBPE) and IS region team regarding (1) the ways of working for the assigned stream(s), (2) the IS tool(s) used for those process and (3) the upgrade of processes & tools, participating in workshops and tests. KU is responsible for complete accurate data for the assigned stream and site.KU provides the first level of support to site(s) operational functions in the assigned stream(s), ensuring the correct use of standard solutions on the site for the associated Product Line. He/she leads the knowledge of the solution by managing the skill matrix for end users. KU is also responsible for the set-up and evaluation of training material for the site or product line specificities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
For the assigned stream(s), the Key User:
Monitors and drives improvements to all relevant operational and digital indicators (metrics & KPIs).Ensures that required systems are used and that processes are correctly followed from a systems perspective.Ensures correct complete data, even if the data comes from other processes / streams.Ensures any/all required system management is performed, e.g., IDOC errors management, COGI errors management.Leads root cause analysis and corrective action(s) whenever needed for process, data, system and tools problems.Identify needed improvements, then define and implement improvement actions. Confirm target improvements are achieved.Provides appropriate technical support to end-users.Provides end-user process/data/systems/tools training.Ensures required training documentation is available, using standard documentation for everything that is not site-specific.Manages system user access and authorization, according to internal control rules.Identify to RBPE any additional site KPI reporting or system automation needs to determine best and most standard solution.Participate in region KU expert network led by RBPE. Actively share best practices and improvements across network.Identify any defects encountered at site. Mitigate by workaround if possible. Submit SNOW Incident if/as aligned with RBPE.Identify and define any system configuration change needed. Submit SNOW Service Request if/as aligned with RBPE.If any needed system enhancements are identified, review with RBPE and coordinate submission of Change Request if applicable.Working with RBPE, test system/tool changes and lead site deployment of any relevant new tool. Perform change management.
A KU may temporarily be assigned to support a new core operations system mobilization for a new site or project, with responsibilities including data creation, testing, training, documentation, system role/access creation and other items. Educational RequirementsMandatory:Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Desirable:
Master’s degree in related field.
ExperienceMandatory:
Alstom experience in assigned stream(s)Alstom systems/tools experience in assigned stream(s)Strong experience solving complex system process problemsStrong experience leading complex system process improvementsStrong training experience
Desirable:
