Purpose of the job

 • As part of the Performance Management organization, the responsibility of this post is to measure, identify and drive improvements across all aspects of fleet performance (reliability, availability, efficiency and data quality).

• This role will also be customer focused.

 

Main Responsibilities

• Support the Performance Manager in the project, including establishing ways of working with the customer, in line with the customer contract.

• Provide support and advice to the Commercial Managers and Project Teams on specified commercial topics.

• To develop and manage KPIs for each contract (dashboard, weekly and monthly KPIs) and suggest appropriate targets for business KPIs.

• Support process for additional works

• Perform attribution of deductions due to failures both internally and with the customer.

• Liaise with the customer and support the attribution process on a day to day capacity

• Liaise with other functions to coordinate and consolidate the relevant information for modifying the attribution of failures and deductions when required, supporting claims and variations orders

• Manage and maintain the performance databases

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency between our Maintenance Management System and other performance databases

• Participate in the daily operational meetings and others appointed that are relevant for performance activities

• Recommend business priorities to best achieve business performance improvement.

• Develop business case justification for improvement actions to be implemented and facilitate the interface between departments.

• Gather information for Master Planning generation.

• Generate reporting of fleet performance.

• Liaise with the customer and support the attribution process on a day to day capacity.

• Ensure the preparation and submission of various Project reports and KPIs to the Customer

• Lead and support the preparation of costing of claims and variations.

• Contribute to success of claims.

• Estimate the quantity and costs of materials

• Prepare contractual letters and other documentation in conjunction with Commercial Managers

• Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.

•  Preparing reports and perform analysis to understand areas for performance improvement.

• Liaise with the operation team, Souring and Supply Chain to coordinate the necessary documentation for supporting the claims/Variation Orders.

• Prepare the necessary files with segregation of the spent hours for the Variation Orders.

• Support /coordinate and follow up, within the Operation and Project organization, any deviations/missing inputs in the GSI.

 

Performance Measurement

• Accuracy of KPIs & reporting delivered in a timely manner.

• Management of action plans.

• Ability to generate ideas to improve the business.

• Data Accuracy in the maintenance management system

• Revenue growth through claims and variations

 

Educational Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science, Information systems program. (Specialization in Data Analytics).

• 1+ years experience in an Data Analytics role

• IT literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite and Power BI

• Previous experience of statistical analysis

• Experience of the Rail industry preferably within a maintenance environment is preferable
