Could you be the full-time Manufacturing Engineering CO-OP Student in Eglinton Maintenance Depot, Toronto we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in supporting our NAM Services Engineering department, contributing to the success of the Eglinton and Finch LRT projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, such as vehicle and infrastructure maintenance engineers, to identify and optimize materials, track engineering progress, and manage data effectively. You’ll also have opportunities to propose engineering solutions to troubleshoot issues and optimize our digital tools.
You’ll specifically take care of identifying warehouse materials using parts lists, engineering documentation, and databases, as well as creating material part numbers with technical specifications, but also supporting the analysis of engineering data and optimizing SharePoint sites for the projects.
We’ll look to you for:

Identifying warehouse materials utilizing parts lists, engineering documentation, and material databases (SAP/VCM)

Creating material part numbers, including technical specifications

Collaborating with maintenance engineers to determine operational priorities and failure rates of identified materials

Supporting the Engineering Manager in tracking work progress and creating status reports using visual management tools

Optimizing Engineering SharePoint sites for project efficiency

Analyzing engineering data and proposing solutions to troubleshoot issues

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

Experience or understanding of warehouse materials and engineering documentation

Knowledge of SAP/VCM systems and technical specifications

Familiarity with data analysis and visual management tools

A proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project) and Power BI

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
