The incumbent is responsible for the overall Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS) (Maximo) used for Asset Registry, MIS, reporting, Interface with Agility, AVIS Interface, Training, and Overall functioning of Maximo.


Roles and Responsibilities 



  • Setup and manage the data and the data’s quality.
  • Deliver training to the general user population, provide reports and conduct analysis to ensure complete and sound configuration, maintenance activities and assets control. 
  • Ensure that the process of defining/updating As-Designed and As-Built data is efficient and accurate, including information from suppliers and partners. 
  • Shall ensure the following are set-up correctly and maintained throughout the period of set-up and use of the MMIS: 
    • Assets and spare parts, including subcontractor and partner data down to lowest replaceable unit as agreed. 
    • Special tools, test equipment, including calibration requirements.  
    • People, Crafts and Labor, including training and certification. 
    • Warranty information and contract to ensure adequate enforcement. 
  • Provide for the smooth transition from the T&C phase to the Operations and Maintenance / revenue service phase by:
    • Incorporating OMC guideline for structure and setup of Maximo 
    • Monitor and enforce data quality. 
    • Adjusting and document processes to ensure common use by all stakeholders. 
  • Manage the MMIS environment and data in accordance with ISO55001 guidelines for Asset Management
  • Interface with the key stakeholders:
    • Ensuring proper authorizations for the various users for Maximo.
    • Be the key solutions provider relative to Maximo implementation and day to day operation.
    • Provide data analysis and reporting to meet the requirements of the contract and management.
    • Interface with the Maximo Center of Competence as required to ensure issues and new features are implemented in a timely fashion
    • Provide training to the various disciplines.
  • Responsible for the smooth interface with AVIS system and assist LRV and Engineering department for the analysis of various fault reports.
  • Would be coordinating with other key stakeholders like Warehouse technicians, Supervisors, Planner, LRV Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Infrastructure Manager.
  • Will be working closely with Top management and Managers in extracting various MIS / reports from Maximo in presentable form to help in taking critical decisions.




  • Work with IT representative to make sure that Maximo is available all the time to each and every stakeholder without any challenge.
  • Single contact point for the smooth interface between Agility and Maximo ensuring that all work orders are generating on time and time stamps are done as per process.
  • Track Key Performance Indicators for Customer Incident Reporting and Work Order processing.
  • Track Warranty periods from the suppliers.
  • Track Chargeback Data for cost recovery
  • Assist in ensuring efficient Storeroom setup, inventory control and administration: 
    • Controlling of the central warranty stock as well as management of the assigned personnel and infrastructure. 
    • Controlling of the key data for the spares, special tools and test equipment including Calibration schedules. 
    • Ensure barcoding is implemented for the storeroom and future work orders for car and wayside.
  • Interface between PI and OMC management to ensure handover elements are put in place at the right time. 
  • Responsible for the continuous improvement of Maximo, Agility, and other intergrated platforms.





  • Technician or Technologist Certificate or higher in relevant domain
  • Typically, minimum 5-8 years relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Maximo essential
  • Demonstrated competencies in the areas of Configuration Management, Asset Management, Warranty Management, Preventative and Corrective Maintenance routines and logistics of storeroom setup and Inventory control
  • Knowledge of the train industry, and specifically; Light Rail Streetcar projects is an asset.
  • IBM certification would be considered as an asset.
  • Has basic knowledge of the project structure, MRP or ERP systems like SAP, requirements management like DOORs are an asset.
