We invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for the NCR Technician position under Supply Chain The position will report to the NCR Manager and is based in Dunnottar

 

Job Purpose

The NCR Technician manages in his/her scope of work, the actions to ensure the conformity of the product and to help the continuous improvement on quality processes. Ensure the conformity of the product and act quickly to solve quality issues.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the respect of the Control Plan and Quality/Supply Chain processes.
  • Create Non-Conformity Report in the GSI system and ensure the curative actions are defined.
  • Analyze and find the root cause of repetitive non compliancy / reworks.
  • Update the list of defects still open – validate and close the reworks done.
  • Supply all the necessary information for NC analysis
  • Ensure quality is built into the processes.
  • Inspect suspect products before release for delivery.
  • Properly characterize non-conformities.
  • Attend the daily meeting in the workshop.
  • With manufacturing, ensure speedy line containment.
  • Suggest actions to improve the quality of the final product seen by the customer, especially the repetitive defects.
  • Support manufacturing and industrial teams to apply improvement actions.
  • Train other people (NCR colleagues / Warehouse) to the quality métier.
  • Respect EHS rules and any work-related processes.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma in Supply Chain /Logistics, Industrial Engineering
  • IT literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Data analyst ( Power BI)
  • English fluency.
  • SAP experience
  • Technical knowledge with 2 to 5 years’ experiences preferably in the railway industry, in quality and supply chain, ideally in an international organization.
  • Experience in Supply Chain and Quality
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety standards.
  • General knowledge of train materials

 

Special Requirements

To carry out technical support and maintenance on 24/7 shift & on-call basis (night, day, weekend).
