Your future role

 

As PI/TSSSA Project Manager, you will lead all Product Introduction (PI) and Technical Support & Spares Supply Agreement (TSSSA) activities, including local train assembly, testing and commissioning, entry into service, reliability growth, warranty closure, and post warranty service execution, technical support and timely spare parts provision and repair. You will represent the project in all PI/TSSSA matters, working closely with customer teams and internal functions.

 

In parallel as Programme Director Deputy, you will support the Programme Director in driving the successful execution of the programme, ensuring alignment between engineering, industrialisation, supply chain, and customer stakeholders. You will act as the local on-shore senior focal point for coordination, risk management, progress reporting, and decision support across the programme lifecycle.

 

We’ll look to you for:


PI/TSSSA Project Manager Responsibilities:
· Manage all on shore activities in Dublin, including unloading, assembly, testing, commissioning, entry into service, and warranty reliability growth.
· Lead the PI Work Package (Despite new PM2020 WP) and ensure implementation of PI processes, instructions, and standards.
· Drive reliability growth with customer and internal teams (defect management, field modifications, Kx performance, etc.).
· Capture and feed back field data and lessons learned to Engineering, Industrial, and Quality teams throughout design, manufacturing, and service phases.
· Ensure PI deliverables are properly planned, communicated, and reported to the Project Core Team and customer.
· Define commissioning and warranty strategies, including mobilisation plans and customer infrastructure needs.
· Implement and monitor NCR/8D processes in coordination with Quality.
· Ensure closure of open items, retrofits, field modifications, and associated reporting.
· Manage dedicated PI resources and support EHS compliance according to AZDP and customer requirements.
· Oversee spare parts and capital parts delivery, contractual stock levels, and obsolescence management.
· Ensure technical support, warehouse management, and material availability for customer maintenance.
· Manage supplier compliance with warranty obligations, including charge back processes.
· Identify additional service sales opportunities arising during warranty and TSSSA operations.

 

Programme Director Deputy Responsibilities:
· Support the Programme Director in overall programme governance, reporting, and performance monitoring.
· Coordinate cross functional alignment between Engineering, Industrial, Quality, Procurement, and PI/TSSSA activities.
· Contribute to risk, opportunity, and change management processes, ensuring timely decision making and escalation when needed.
· Monitor programme milestones and ensure adherence to contractual deliverables, quality standards, and budget expectations.
· Represent the programme at selected customer and internal leadership forums.
· Ensure timely preparation of management reviews, progress dashboards, KPIs, and strategic programme updates.
· Support resource planning and prioritisation across work packages to secure programme execution.

 

Candidate Requirements
Essential:
· Strong experience in project execution or and in RS Service
· Demonstrated team management capability
· Routine & Standard Mindset (Kaizen, 5S, Visual Management)
· EHS awareness and adherence.
· Autonomy, organisational discipline, and ability to structure complex work packages.
· Full time presence in Dublin, Ireland

 

Desirable:
· Field experience in railway safety, product liability, or service operations.
· RAMS knowledge.
· Engineering background.
· DFQ, Quality, and Audit skills.
