The Alstom-led consortium Expolink, also composed of Acciona and Gulermak, has signed a contract with RTA (Roads & Transport Authority) to design and build the extension of Dubai’s Red metro line, also called Route 2020, and upgrade the system of the existing line. The project involves the construction of a 15-kilometre-long line – of which 11.8 kilometers of elevated metro line and 3.2 kilometers underground metro line - branching off the existing red line at the Nakheel Harbour & Tower station.

Job Purpose

The SystemsTraining Manager (known as RSY Training Manager) has overall responsibility for the supervision of the entire training process, ensuring that the training sessions are performed in accordance with the ExpoLink Training Plans.

Main Missions/Responsibilities

 

The RSY Training Manager has overall responsibility for the supervision of the entire training process, ensuring that the training sessions are performed in accordance with the ExpoLink Training Plans.

In addition the RSY Training Manager is the main representative for:

  • Ensuring all aspects related to the preparation, performance and follow up of the training, are organised in a professional and organised manner, within the contractual requirements,
  • Ensuring communication and coordination with the O&M entity Representatives,
  • Supporting the elaboration of training content,
  • Supporting the identification of possible Instructors and check their availabilities,
  • Organising the training sessions,
  • Coordinating the entity Contractor Training Instructors and suppliers,
  • Proof-reading, commenting and transmitting training programs for the different entities,
  • Establishing a mechanism to monitor the effectiveness of the training,
  • Ensuring customer approval and completion with the training,
  • Integrating training schedule,
  • Managing all logistic
  • Suggesting and deploying best practices, methods and tools of training activities.
