Could you be the full-time onsite Signaling Upgrade Manager in Dubai, UAE we’re looking for?
Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and driven teammates.
You'll contribute to the successful execution of sub-system scopes of work, ensuring alignment with contractual commitments and project objectives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, R&D programs, Procurement, Supply Chain, Industrial, RAMS) to coordinate and synchronize activities, manage interfaces with train-level teams, and actively resolve cross-functional challenges, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:

Applying Project Strategy according to defined contractual and project commitments and targets on sub-system.,

Actively contributing to overall project performance by timely alerting deviations and managing risks, savings, and opportunities.,

Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, instructions, standards, processes, and tools, including Code of Ethics & Compliance, EHS, Railway Safety, Quality, and PMM.,

Leading and coordinating sub-system activities and stakeholders from requirement capture to the end of project contractual obligations.,

Cascading and allocating sub-system requirements and QCDP objectives to team members.,
-
Planning, monitoring, controlling, and managing sub-system end-to-end activities, including scope, schedule, resources, cost, risks, savings, and opportunities.,

Synchronizing cross-functional execution of sub-system objectives, activities, and deliverables across engineering, procurement, supply chain, and other relevant functions.,

Managing sub-system situation and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting transparently.,

Representing Alstom towards customers and external stakeholders when delegated by the Project Manager.,

Coordinating and synchronizing sub-system activities with other sub-systems and project teams to resolve overarching issues and optimize solutions."

Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. ,

Experience or understanding of project management principles, including QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) and performance indicators. ,

Knowledge of risk management, savings, and opportunity processes in project execution. ,

Familiarity with compliance standards such as Code of Ethics & Compliance, Environment Health & Safety, Railway Safety, and Quality. ,

A certification or communication skill: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is a plus, along with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. ,

Strong leadership and coordination capabilities to manage cross-functional teams. ,
-
Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, ensuring alignment with project strategies and objectives. ,

Proficiency in planning, monitoring, and controlling project activities using tools and processes. ,

Adaptability and resilience to manage change and re-baselining during project execution. ,
