Infrastructure Technical Engineer


Purpose of the Job
Manage the maintenance operations related to the infrastructure of Dubai Tram LRT network systems ( Catenary, 
Power Supply and Distribution, Railway Electromechanical equipment, Signaling, Communications Systems, Depot

Hierarchically to the Maintenance Infrastructure Manager

  • Preventive KPI = 99.9 % of the WO to be closed before end of the month 
  • Corrective KPI = 95% of the SR to be closed before end of the month 
  • Proper reporting of failure 


Responsibilities : 


  • Direct point of contact for all related infrastructures maintenance operation;
  • Ensure all preventive/corrective maintenance activities are completed on time (monthly contractual KPI)
  • Make sure the day & night shifts /annual leave are planned in advance and respected in order to have adequate resources at all times; Minimize overtime.
  • Prepare and update the monthly schedule of infra activities. 
  • Review and validate report (accomplishment report, incident report, etc..) produced by the team
  • Issue/update/review Maintenance Method statement
  • Prepare method statement and risk assessment for new activities
  • Make sure that teams have adequate permit to work, tools, material;
  • Highlight/anticipate any shortage of spare parts;
  • Ensure that EHS rules are applied by all team;
  • In case of major incident make sure proper organization is in place, containment measures are put in place and provide clear communication on status of the incident and action plan;
  • Highlight/anticipate major issues to Maintenance Infrastructures Manager, 
  • Take part in route cause analysis and to implement corrective action plan;
  •  Animate Operation meetings on regular basis 
  • Ensure proper failure is reported in the Maintenance Monitoring System when new failure occurs.
  • Animation of on site troubleshooting training
  • Liaise with suppliers if required;
  • The position requires work at night shift when required. 


Candidate Requirements :


Educational Requirements : engineering degree


Desired Knowledge / Experience

  • Min. 5 years of experience in railways system maintenance. 
  • Good communication, verbal and written, report writing and organisational skills.
  • Ability to identify, build and maintain good relationships both internally within ACB and externally with the Client and Operator
  • Must be very proactive in on site activities, a quick learner and also share the knowledge REX with other team members.
