The Alstom-led consortium Expolink, also composed of Acciona and Gulermak, has signed a contract with RTA (Roads & Transport Authority) to design and build the extension of Dubai’s Red metro line, also called Route 2020, and upgrade the system of the existing line. The project involves the construction of a 15-kilometre-long line – of which 11.8 kilometers of elevated metro line and 3.2 kilometers underground metro line - branching off the existing red line at the Nakheel Harbour & Tower station.

Job Purpose


Under the responsibility of the Expolink OMC Manager, the main job purposes are to :

  • Manage the asset database process, and the interface with the MMS team,
  • Manage data validity process and population KPIs,
  • Manage the LCC (definition of content, process),
  • Managing interface with BIM entity regarding data,
  • Defining the labelling process (stickers, content, process, etc),
  • Ensuring that the asset database is complete and up to date compared to the current system configuration,
  • Ensuring that the LCC is accurate and complete.

For the ALSTOM scope, the Asset Data Manager will be in charge to

  • Implement and populate the Geographical Breakdown Structure for the line based on the drawings and scheme plan,
  • Implement and populate the Technical Breakdown Structure for the line based on the technical data coming for the project entities,
  • Populate the attributes for each asset of the asset database in accordance with the installation progress,
  • Ensure that the asset database in in line with the current system configuration up to the handover phase,
  • Implement the chosen labelling solution (if any),
  • Generate the Dashboard and KPI to show the Asset Database Progress,
  • Support the different Expolink Entities during the population phase and the O&M Entity during the handover phase,
  • Manage the Life Cycle Cost process.

Candidate Requirements

Educational Requirements

Engineer with Analytical skills (data collection, data analysis, data processing) and Project management skills.

Able to read electrical, architecture and mechanical diagrams and drawings.

Languages: English; French and Arabic would be a plus.


Railway systems.

Notion in Functional and maintenance.

Knowledge of Maintenance Management Software and preferably Maximo is a plus.
