Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your validation expertise in a new cutting-edge field.

 

You’ll perform the Certification and Validation activities for part of the train delegated by the TVE during project execution. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business develop test operating modes and analyses test results , define and implements the most appropriate testing methodology and means of testing and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of writing the Train test procedures, but also carry out type, validation or investigation tests, and preparing reports.

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

 

•          Defining the most appropriate test methodology, testing means and developing the test operating mode in accordance within the costs time and pass-fail criterion set for the test.

•          Executing tests and providing reports.

 

Responsible for:

 

For Tests:

•          Preparing the tests they are responsible for:

•          Participating in the design and the development of the tools necessary for performing the tests

•          Implementing, verifying (functional), and ensuring compliance (calibration) of the measuring equipment to be ready at the time of the test.

•          Preparing the equipment for testing. Validating that the applied configuration and pre requisite testing allows the testing to proceed.

•          Respecting EHS rules notably implementing LockOut TagOut instruction.

•          Supervising and/or executing test activities, analysing test results “live” and deciding if test has to be redone or not

•          Test results data analysis, writing static and dynamic test reports

 

For validation :

•          Executing activities given by the Train Validation Engineer (TVE)

•          Updating the Validation Plan

•          Consolidating the specification of tools and test means (climatic chamber, train, ...)

•          Tools & means procurement (design, purchase, reservation,)

•          Writing Train System test procedures

•          Ensuring the timely issuing of the Validation proves (including proves of lower level systems and components) and consolidates Validation files

•          Providing structured REX to feed costing activities, and to enrich the CV metier technical repository

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience within an Engineering Environment (senior level)
  • Train system knowledge (system analysis, railways)
  • Tests organization capability, knowledge of planning tools
  • Fluent in English
  • Electrical schematic experience
  • Software Validation
  • Knowledge of electrical vs software design on train.
  • Experience in TCMS development and/or validation.
  • Technical documentation creation and reporting
