Purpose of the role
Coordinate overall Operational Service transformation roadmaps aligned with Regions S&OP & priorities
To positively challenge current practices and lead change.
Monitor Operational KPIs to drive delivery plan & prioritize
Align operations to organisational strategy - Ensures monitoring of activities against strategic priorities and in cooperation with team adjusts direction when required.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

•    To support the Strategy & Performance Lead in all aspects of the pillar function
•    To positively challenge current practices and lead change

•    Successfully manage complex programs, coordinating the work of multiple sources over the long term - Efficiently coordinates simultaneous projects and communicates regularly in order to maintain momentum and mitigate risks

•    Persists at a task despite interruptions, obstacles or setbacks.
•    Aligns operations to organisational strategy - Ensures monitoring of activities against strategic priorities and in cooperation with team adjusts direction when required.
•    Strategic roadmap development & maintenance
•    Operation Delivery plan – balancing objectives & deliverables
•    Planning (L1, L2, L3 etc.) & Governance 
•    Capex alignment & validation
•    Operational Performance control Tower – KPI Management and governance
•    Initiative Coordination & Drive
•    Strategy into action link to other workstreams (in Ser Ops and regions)
•    Challenge & support CAPEX & IAR requests,
•    Services Operations coordination (PMO).
•    Leadership Coaching (as required)
•    Stakeholder/Customer feedback/satisfaction
•    Delivery plan objective achievement
•    Value capture target achievement.


REQUIREMENTS

•    Engineering/operations background, and/or PMO/Business Administration
•    Strong experience on operations related experience in the railway industry – preferable or Services
•    PMO / Performance Management – desirable
•    IT literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•    Administration/Project Control/Planning
•    Leadership.
•    Team Player.
•    Build partnerships and work vertically & transversally.
•    Results oriented.
•    Take responsibility and ownership. Refers decision to others when appropriate. 
•    Logical and organized.
•    Strong communication skills.
•    Stakeholder oriented.
•    Advanced/business fluent level of English
