Your future role: 

 

The Alstom Services Engineering is expanding rapidly, and the teams are growing to continue to support Aventra fleets to end of life; making it a great time to join our expanding team and business as part of your career plan. The Signalling System Engineer is a key role in delivering the signalling documentation (Requirement Specification and Architecture Description RSAD, Technical Purchase Specification TPS, Interface Control Document ICD).

 

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

  • Defining and implementing the functional, performance, transverse and train level requirements of the dedicated signalling system.
  • Integrating the signalling system into the train (mechanically and electrically)
  • Defining the Interface (mechanical and electrical) for the dedicated signalling system.
  • Verifying of the signalling system (focus on train level) including design reviews.
  • Change and configuration management process for the signalling system on train level.
  • Control of changes after design changes including impact analysis.
  • Planning and follow up of all activities linked to the signalling system.
  • Support sourcing, suppliers, PUs, S&A Engineers, Interior engineers, RAMS engineers, and validation engineers.
  • Providing inputs to engineering team, sourcing, suppliers or Pus

  • Experience of Project Engineering for Aventra/Crossrail
  • English language
  • Rolling stock functional engineer experiences on several train functions
  • Work package and Team management experiences
  • Knowledge of network topologies and interfaces for Serial, Ethernet, MVB and other industrial communication network.
  • Communication abilities
