Purpose of the Job:

  • Support Train Design Tender/Project team on the train design requirement management
  • Ensure that the Requirement Management & Development process and methodology is followed in line with Requirement Management Plan (RMP) of the project
  • Generate the key indicator of Train Design scope.


Accountable for:

  • Ensuring Project Requirement Management Database consistency on Train Design modules
  • Dedicated and ad hoc training for TD population.

 

Responsible for:

  • Support is based on Process, method & tool training, support in requirement quality review, support user manipulating the tool
  • Supporting TAM/TDE(Train Architect Manager/Train Design Engineer), TSS (Train Sub-System), MLE (Mechanical Lead Engineer) and ME (Mechanical Engineer) in:
    • Clarifying and cleaning requirements,
    • Synthetizing requirements,
    • Analysing & developing requirements,
    • Allocating requirements, Defining Means of Proof associated to Requirements.
  • Propagating requirements L2 to the modules
  • Managing TD KPI for each project
  • Manage the schedule of requirements management activities in accordance with the deadlines of each project and identify priority conflicts or risks of not meeting commitments.

  • The Requirement Management & Development network (KU)
  • Share the good practices and the solutions to problems encountered in the implementation of the project
  • Improve the process and quality of Requirement Management & Development

 

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Mechanical Engineering preferably applied to Railway products with 3 to 4 years of experience
  • Experienced DOORs user
  • Rolling Stock (Vehicle / Infrastructure) Knowledge
  • Structured and organised with Hands-on approach
  • Good Communications
  • Guidance regarding project planning (Time management) and reporting skill
  • English basics in read/writing.
